Arts Related/Asset Mapping / Photography: We are seeking interns to help catalog and assess the condition of public art around Lexington. This would require some onsite visits but could be done by the individual while keeping social distancing. Map public art collection and temporary installations. Map value card participants.
Data management, including records review and update, report design and production, survey form design and compilation.
Fundraising: We are in the middle of the Fund for the Arts Campaign and are currently forming strategy of how to best raise funds in this climate and without in person events.
Grant writing/seeking: we are constantly applying to new sources of funding. We have access to grant search software that an intern could help us identify new grants opportunity and assist staff with reviewing applications. Revise existing and design new evaluation instruments to support both grantmaking and grantseeking functions.
Social Media/Marketing: in supporting our Communications Director in implementing social media strategy to keep the organization present. Using pre-designed templates, design and update forms, PowerPoint presentations, internal documents, and social media content. Assist in the creation of social media calendars, create and post content accordingly. Assist volunteers with creation of peer-to-peer fundraising pages.
Create website update schedule and make changes accordingly.
Conduct and assist with administration of audience intercept survey; support completion of written organizational surveys.
