Faculty Spotlight
Gail Hoyt
Gail is a professor of Economics and has been a Gatton College of Business and Economics faculty member for more than 20 years in many different capacities. She is being recognized for her work last semester in the class Economics 410: Economics of Altruism, Philanthropy, and Nonprofit Organizations. The class worked with nine different non-profit organizations throughout the fall semester in which they conducted various types of analyses and prepared reports for the organizations. At the conclusion of the semester, the students chose one organization to receive a $10,000 grant, provided by Gatton College Alumnus Chuck Sonsteby, to support their activities.
